Punjab TET Exam 2013

Punjab TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is organized by State Council of Education Research Punjab for the eligibility determination of the applicants for the appointment as Elementary, Secondary  levels teachers renowned by Department of School Education, Punjab

Educational Norms:

Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage)
SSC or Diploma or Graduation at least with 50% of marks.

Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)
Graduation or B.Ed. or SSC at least with 50% of aggregate marks.

Syllabus of Examination:

Syllabus for Paper I (for classes I to V) Primary Stage:

1.      Child Development and Pedagogy: Child Development (Primary School Child), Concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs, Learning and Pedagogy

2.      Language-I (Punjabi): Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development

3.      Language- II (English): Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development IV

4.      Mathematics: Geometry, Shapes & Spatial Understanding, Measurement, Weight, Time, LCM & HCF, Decimal, Fractions, Pedagogical issues

5.      Environmental Studies:  Pedagogical Issues 

Syllabus for Paper II (for classes VI to VIII) Elementary Stage:

1.     Child Development and Pedagogy: Child Development Elementary School Child, Concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs, Learning and Pedagogy

2.     Language-I (Punjabi): Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development, Learning and acquisition

3.     Language- II (English): Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development: 15Questions
4.     Mathematics and Science: Mathematics: Content, Number System, Pedagogical issues
Science: Content, Components of food, Pedagogical issues

5.     Social Studies/ Social Sciences: Content, History, Geography, Social and Political Life (Civics), Pedagogical issues

PTET Pattern

The examination has multiple questions of 1 mark each along with 4 sections. Paper –I for teachers applying for class 1-5 of 150 marks 30 marks 30 questions each of 2& half hrs duration and Paper-II and for teachers applying for class 6-8. 30 marks for the 3 papers and 60 marks for the concern subject of 2and half hrs duration of 150 marks and questions.

How to apply & Fee Details?

The applicant has to make the online registration www.tetpunjab.com. The applicant has to make the choice for Paper-I or Paper-II or for both the papers applicant can make the registration. After this the Challan has to be printed for the payment of the fee www.tetpunjab.com. And again enter the details of the fee payment. Rs.500/- for Paper-I and Rs.1000/- for both the papers and Rs.300/- and Rs.600/- for Reserved category. The applicant then has to submit the confirmation page by taking print out of the same and send it to V. The Director, S.C.E.R.T. Block-27th Floor PSEB Complex, Phase-8, Ajitgarh (Punjab).

Admit Card:

The applicant has to take the print out and fix the photo on it. Get it attested by the Gazetted Officer.

Rajasthan TET Exam 2013

Rajasthan TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is going to organized by Department of School Education, Rajasthan. This examination is held for the eligibility of the teachers for the teaching in the Primary and Upper Primary classes in the state of Rajasthan. That is for classes 1st to 5th and classes 6th to 8th.

Educational Qualifications:

The applicants applying for the class 1stto 5th for primary teachers must have qualified the Senior Secondary with minimum of 45% of marks. The applicants with 2 yrs of Diploma in Elementary Education, or Bachelor of Elementary Education of 4 yrs or Special Education Diploma in Education of 2 yrs. B.Sc. or B.A. and B.Ed. with at least of 505 of marks.

The applicants applying for the class 6thto 8th for Upper Primary Teachers must have the B.Sc. or B.A.  along with 45% of marks. The applicant must have done B.Ed. or SSC with at least 505 of marks. And the applicant must have done at least Bachelor in Elementary Education of 4 yrs and B.A. or B.Ed. or B.Sc. or B.Ed. or B.Ed. Special Education at least with 50% of aggregate marks.

Exam Pattern:

The Examination is of 2 objective types of questions of paper-I and Paper-II. The question will be of 1 mark each making it to the total of 150 marks of 150 questions each divided into 4 sections of 30 marks for Paper-I of class 1 to 5.

The question will be of 1 mark each making it to the total of 150 marks of 150 questions each divided into 4 sections out of which 3 sections are compulsory of 30 marks and section 4 has either or math & Science or Social Sciences for Paper-II of class 6 to 8.

Syllabus:

The examination of Paper-I consists of content and structure of Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language I, Mathematics, Environmental Studies for the classes 1 to 5. 
The examination for Paper-II has content and structure of Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Language I (compulsory), and Mathematics and Science and Social Science either of these for the examination of Classes 6 to 8

Admit Card:

The aspirants those who have applied for the examination can download their admit card before the examination say about 15 days before.

NIFT Exam 2013

NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) is the prime Institute of Fashion Technology of India. It conducts entrance examination every year for the admissions of eligible students in the NIFT. It holds Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) Programmes.

Eligibility Norms for Exam:

NIFT Entrance Exam Pattern

Written examination (Bachelor Programmes-Design GAT 40% CAT 40% Situation Test 20%, Apparel Production GAT 60% MAT 40%), Group Discussion (Masters Programmes- Management GAT 35% MAT 35% Group Discussion 10%, and Psychometric Test 10%, Personality Test (Personal Interview 10%). On these grounds the selection of the applicants are finalized. 

Examination Syllabus:

The syllabus has the wide range for testing t he personality of the applicant.

General Ability Test (GAT): Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, Market Domain-Test (only for Bachelor programme in Design), General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

Creative Ability Test (CAT) (for Bachelor programme in Design).

Managerial Ability Test (MAT): Case Study, Business Domain Test, Logical Ability.

Life Corporation of India has Issued a notification to appointing 157 FSE (Financial service Executive) for the South Zone, Eastern Zone, Central Zone, South Central Zone. Interested candidate can apply for the exam as per their eligibility mentioned below:

Age Eligibility:

Candidate’s age must be in between 21 years to 35 years (as on 01-04-2013). Age relaxation will apply as per the rules.

Description of Selection Procedure:

Those who qualify the written examination of LIC FSE will be invited for the Interview phase. There is no surety that the candidates successful in the written test will be finally taken for the post; the corporation holds the right to restrict the number of candidates as per the FSE seats. Interview qualified candidates will be now be put on medical Examination where on being found fit, they will undergo the Apprenticeship Training and paid one time and fixed amount of stipend Rs 10000/-.Finally qualify in the training process, candidates will be engaged as Financial Sales Executive on contractual basis as per the rules laid down by Corporation.

Academic Qualification:

Complete Graduation from University or Institutes recognized by UGC or possess diploma in Management or Marketing. Knowledge of English and local language is required. Candidates having computer working knowledge will be given more preference.

Rs.100/- for unreserved category while SC and ST Applicants have to pay no fee.

Fill the transaction details given by LIC at the right column carefully and check all the details before submitting the page.As soon as page is submitted, registration Number and Password will be generated and the same will be sent on mobile also. Keep this registration No. and Password for future use.

CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam-2013

 One of the prominent exams conducted by UPSC (Union Public service Commission) is combined defence services examination for the different areas of defence courses. This is much awaited exam for those candidates who wish to make their career in defence areas.

Mode of applying to Exam:

Candidates can apply for the exam through online mode. Only single application will be allowed.


Fee structure:

Candidate has to pay Rs.200/, although, SC/ST and female candidates are free from this fee, or they are exempted from this. Applicants can either deposit this fee in cash to any branch of SBI or through net banking facility provided by SBI or its affiliated banks.

The selection procedure comprises of written test and personality test and interview for intelligence.

Topics covered under different sections:

Elementary Mathematics: Topics regarding Geometry, Arithmetic and Algebra Mensuration, Statistics and trigonometry are of major importance. The difficulty level of questions will be of class Xth level.

English language: candidate must have knowledge of basic rules of grammar and have good vocabulary. Comprehension type’s questions are equally important.

General knowledge & Awareness:  It is expected that the candidates should be aware about their surroundings or happening around the world & current news. Questions related to geography & history can also be asked.
