Job Designation: Project Fellow

Number of Position: 01 (One)

Educational Qualification: B. Tech. /B.E. in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering with minimum 55% marks Or M. Sc. in Physics / Chemistry with minimum 55% marks (Inorganic/Physical specialization). Preference will be given to those candidates having valid GATE score Or NET (Engineering) score for students from engineering stream and valid NET score for students from Science stream.

Pay Scale: Rs.16000/- + H.R.A as admissible per month

Tenure: Up to March, 2017, or coterminous with the duration of the project whichever is earlier.

Age Limit: Upper Limit for all the above positions is 28 years (as on 01.09.2013)

Location of Posting: Kolkata

The candidates should attach copies of their project thesis with the application, if any. The candidates must also submit original letters of recommendation from two of their supervisors/teachers duly signed and stamped by them preferably in their institute letterheads along with the application in the prescribed format. Incomplete applications without prescribed format and supporting documents will be summarily rejected. The applications should reach this office addressed to the Director, CSIRCGCRI, 196, Raja S. C. Mullick Road, Kolkata-700032 on or before 10.09.2013 and the envelope containing the Application must be super scribed the Advt. No. along with name of the position & code applied for on the top left corner in Block Letter. The Number of vacancies indicated above is provisional and may vary at the time of actual selection. However, CSIR-CGCRI reserves the right not to fill up any/all the post(s), if it so desires. In case of large number of applications received for the above position (s), the Competent Authority may fix parameters for short listing the candidates. The decision of the Institute shall be final in this behalf. Interim enquiries in this respect will not be entertained. Candidates who are appearing for their final examination or whose results are awaited are not eligible.
